To: All Taney County Regional Sewer District Customers
UPDATE: Taney County Regional Sewer District Operations During COVID-19 (Office Open to Public - Limitations on Public in Office)
After battling the COVID-19 (coronavirus) for the last several weeks, the State of Missouri has issued an order allowing businesses to begin reopening effective May 4, 2020. In accordance with that order, effective immediately the Taney County Regional Sewer District office is now open to the public with limitations of only two people from the public allowed in the office/lobby at one time. This limitation on public in the building will remain in effect through May 31, 2020 in conjunction with the State of Missouri's Phase 1 plan to reopen the State, or until further notice.
The current order states that social distancing must be maintained at all times when out in the public and we ask that if you are in the District office you follow that guideline for social distancing and use proper hygiene.
District office staff will continue with normal office hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will take payments through our website at tcrsd.org, through the mail at the address below, over the phone, and via our drop box on the outside of our building.
Please take advantage of paying your sewer bill online at tcrsd.org or by completing an ACH Form and mailing it with a voided check to our office. The ACH Form is located on our website under Documents then Forms & Applications. ACH draft will ensure that your sewer bill will be automatically debited from your checking or savings account on a monthly basis. You may also call our office at 417-546-7221 to make a payment over the phone. There is no fee charged for making payments online, via ACH draft, or calling and making a credit card payment.
Please mail all payments and other documents to: P.O. Box 563, Forsyth, MO 65653
For all other inquiries please contact our office at 417-546-7221. If you have a sewer emergency please call our emergency line at 417-331-0578.
Please know the District will continue to properly operate and maintain its sewer infrastructure including our many lift stations, grinder pumps, collection systems, and treatment facilities, as well as continue maintaining normal office hours to provide the services necessary to the public and our county that are so vital to keeping our waters, streams, and lakes clean and enjoyable.
Reminder: Please do not flush so called flushable wipes. There is no such thing as a wipe that is flushable. Wipes that are flushed into sanitary sewers cause blockages, pump failures, and sewer backups. Please be mindful that wipes cause problems in sewer systems, especially during this time of social distancing and spending more time than normal at our homes.
Thank you for attention in reading this update on the status of our operations at the District.
Sincerely,
Brad Allbritton
District Administrator
